As a DACP leader, they managed critical security operations and rapid-response teams safeguarding military installations, personnel, and assets against diverse threats. Additionally, their overseas experience includes conducting private contract Personal Security Detail (PSD) operations in hostile environments, neutralizing threats and ensuring the safety of clients in volatile, high-pressure scenarios.

Joseph Andress serves as the Operations Manager for Anvil Defense Group, bringing a wealth of experience in security operations, leadership, and tactical planning to the organization. With an eight-year tenure in the United States Marine Corps and extensive professional experience in the private security sector, Joseph is adept at managing complex operations in high-stress environments.
In his role, Joseph oversees the day-to-day operational activities of Anvil Defense Group, ensuring seamless execution of executive protection services, government contracting operations, and disaster response efforts. His responsibilities include optimizing workflows, maintaining regulatory compliance, and fostering a high-performing team to deliver best-in-class security solutions for clients.
Joseph’s military background as an Infantry Squad Leader honed his skills in leadership, logistics, and operational readiness. His contributions included managing training programs for units of up to 200 personnel and deploying globally as part of Operation Inherent Resolve. These experiences solidified his expertise in tactical planning, quick reaction force deployment, and convoy operations.
Following his military service, Joseph transitioned to private sector roles where he excelled as a security consultant, personal protection officer, and manager. His accomplishments include safeguarding high-value clients, coordinating disaster relief security operations, and overseeing large-scale events with thousands of attendees. He is currently attending National American University to receive his Bachelor’s of Science in Strategic Security and Executive Protection Management.
